Father & Son day at Kyle Field

Saturday Will and I went to the A&M vs. Missouri game. We missed having Mary with us, but had a great time at a great game. The Aggies held on to the lead and finally got themselves into the AP rankings. After the last two games coming down to the final seconds, Mary decided to take this game easy, and enjoyed the afternoon shopping and eating Chinese food with buddy Emily.

For fun, Will and I made a little documentary of our adventure:

Pictures from the past month

It's already mid-October. Hard to believe. Seems like just a week ago, the Flinns and Burgers were all in town for Kelly's baptism. The cousins had a good weekend playing with each other. I guess it will be another year -- or closer to two -- before we get all the cousins born and walking around. That will be fun.

We also went to the St. Elizabeth's church picnic with Ethan and Kerry Oldag. Will was mostly into the little fishing pool filled with some water that was probably clean at the beginning of the picnic, but after a day of fishing kids, sitting downwind from the bubble table, and in the middle of a busy playground... it looked pretty nasty. So naturally, Will wanted to get as much of it in an on him as he could.

Plus, just some daily shots from life around the house. Never a dull moment.

Catching up on posting some Will art

One of the things we hope to do in the new site format is post more of Will's various artwork as it comes up. Here is a collection of things he's done over the last couple of months.

New Moran Sighted

In case you are just learning this, there is going to be a new Moran. Expected arrival is April 17, 2007. We laid low for weeks, but now the story is out and we want to share our excitement.

Today Mary had an ultrasound that scanned for Downs Syndrome and other issues. We learned several things about the Newbie:
- Just the one Newbie, no multi-pack o' babies
- There are four limbs and a big head
- Looks comfortable in the little capsule
- Measures approximately 54mm long

And, the doctor said that the thickness of a space on the back of the neck (one of the indicators of Downs) looked good.

Very exciting to see, and for those of us not experiencing all-day morning sickness for the last month or more, it made it all the more real.

The Video Archive

As with the photo archive, we didn't want to delete any of our older video. Afterall, the hosting company keeps bumping up our server space, so we might as well keep filling it. Plus, the new layout makes it easy to add all of the old videos. The dates listed are rough approximations based on the files.

The Photo Archive

Our setup at MoranMedia made it easy enough to just move everything over to the new look and feel of MoranMedia.com 2.0. Plus, it's an opportunity to clean up the server and get things nice and organized.

We've grouped the photos by quarter:
